In keeping with governance best practices the Institute employs a dual-board structure.

• The Board of Members: An eight-person board which sponsors the Institute, serves as the ministerial juridical person under Canon Law, and appoints the Board of Directors. They hold enumerated reserve powers and are the keepers of the Mission and Vision.
• The Board of Directors: As fiduciaries, the directors ensure that the Institute’s academic and administrative leadership are guided by sound policies and practices and are equipped with adequate resources to further the Institute’s mission.
