We seek to transform the current state of the Catholic Church’s efforts with young adults by equipping ministry leaders for excellence in their work through pastoral formation, spiritual accompaniment, intergenerational and intercultural competency, and academic study.

Transformation

to transform the current state of the Catholic Church’s efforts with young adults by equipping ministry leaders for excellence in their work through pastoral formation, spiritual accompaniment, intergenerational and intercultural competency, and academic study.

Faithfulness

to Scripture and Tradition, and to the social, and moral teachings of the Church; and to advance faithfully the Catholic Church’s understanding of ministry with young adults by exploring the theological, philosophical, ecclesial, sociological, intercultural, spiritual, artistic, and human foundations and applications for this and related ministerial fields.

Innovation

to boldly explore new possibilities and take necessary risks to advance the ministry.

Accompaniment

to walk alongside and mentor pastoral leaders and provide the support they need; to provide a home for Catholic pastoral leaders working with young adults through national gatherings, online communities, formation, mentoring, networking, and regular support.

Evangelization

to proclaim Christ and the Gospel in all that we do and to educate, and engage young adults as missionary disciples on a national level through missionary efforts, online learning, national programs, and curated digital resources.

Advocacy and Co-Responsibility

to speak up, with the entire Church, for young people, and to advise the leadership of the Catholic Church in the United States on the current reality of young adults, their ministry leaders, and the culture in which they live and work.

Collaboration, Diversity, and Inclusion

to celebrate the intergenerational, intercultural, and experiential diversity of the entire Church in this effort and to collaborate with, support, and complement the work of the Holy See and the bishops, as well as the efforts of parishes, dioceses, and ministerial organizations in areas connected to the Church’s work with and for young adults.
